The Challenge

NothinButSnow approached VMS needing to establish themselves and stand out within the ski and snowboard instructor training market. They were a new business with no testimonials or previous success they could use to their advantage. Leigh and Sam the business owners had identified that other organisations were not doing a great job of offering great value and customer experience in their service and product. They wanted to capitalise on this and base their business culture on solving that issue.

Trying to sell an experience to people with no prior customers is never an easy task so they knew they needed to look good, stand out and make enough noise for people to eventually notice them. Being a small business they had the advantage of low overheads which meant their strategy of delivering increased value was easier to achieve.

The Solution

We helped them initially with some brand development of their existing logo to give it more impact and make it more informative to the consumer. This positioned their company well from the start and got them noticed within a competitive market.

The website was the next step and we were able to deliver them an online presence that captured the experience people would gain in a nutshell, creatively delivered through breathtaking imagery and clear punchy messages the site soon started to deliver enquiries and industry recognition.

NohinButSnow was starting to get noticed which was great but also bought it’s own new challenges. Their competition was fighting back which while flattering meant we needed to stay on top of our game supporting the guys with new ideas, social interaction and new ways to engage their audience.

NothinButSnow are now established in the industry as one of the premium suppliers of Ski and Snowboard Instructor training in Canada. They have a fantastic profile and brand which never dates and never fails to impress. Their website is slick, attractive and sells their experience in a nutshell.

Initially contacted VMS as they were not happy with how the design of their new website was looking. After an initial meeting we put plans into motion to re-design and create a new site that would really capture the essence of the ski and snowboard market to promote their courses in the best and most creative way.

NothinButSnow needed something special to mail out to anyone that was enquiring about their courses, they didn’t just want any old leaflet or download so we created a brilliantly visual brochure. The finish used matt lamination along with a spot uv varnish to give it a touch of class!

Further development was undertaken for the NothinButSnow website to create media players for the site. These videos and images are used to promote the resorts and accommodation available, this gives people a real feel for what they can expect on a nothinbutsnow course.

NothinButSnow asked VMS to come up with a media to promote their company and show potential customers their courses and options. Due to the green policy NBS comply to we decided to go for a downloadable and online flash brochure rather than a printed version.

NothinButSnow’s new website showcases the range of social media they use to promote their business, allowing users to follow and interactive with them on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube, as well as their own Blog/News.

NothinButSnow are great at keeping up to date with social networking. To promote their Twitter and Facebook accounts wecreated stylised boxes to make their social networking accounts stand out within the site. We encourage integrating your social media within your website as added optimisation.

After designing and developing the NothinButSnow website, they purchased a Volkswagen Tiguan for us to style up. We designed a bespoke vehicle wrap to fit perfectly to the car, liaising with the Racoon who then implemented the wrap onto the vehicle – the outcome is truly stunning.
