To decide whether you should outsource your entire marketing strategy, part of your efforts, or none at all, you need to really understand your company and its capabilities.
It is common practice already to outsource your development team, accounting team, customer service, and many other areas of business. You save on overheads, commitment, recruiting time, training time, and the expenses of full-time staff, while allowing you to tap into experts without all the associated expenses. This is why outsourcing your marketing team has recently become a more common practice.
VMS offers a full marketing department if you don’t already have one…
If you’re a startup, small business, or an organisation focussing on other growth initiatives such as product, bringing your marketing efforts to an agency that provide a strategy and can execute across multiple marketing channels could be key.
Additionally, you can get all the perks of having multi-service marketing staff, but stick within your budget. By outsourcing you could utilise an entire team of experts, little or zero software costs – and all at a fraction of the cost with no long-term commitment.
“The benefits are endless. Trying to hire your own entire in-house team can be very expensive and usually doesn’t land you the same level of expertise and experience.”
What kinds of projects represent outsourced marketing?
There’s no limit to the kinds of projects and campaigns VMS can produce. You can commission us to rebuild your website, plan and execute your social media strategy, design your print and digital ads, draft press releases and white papers, co-ordinate your tradeshow materials, ghostwrite all your blogs and newsletters… You can contract projects and services ad-hoc, or as part of a comprehensive package.
We are a very open and friendly agency and like to form strong working relationships with our clients to get the very best from everything we do for them. We will become your creative and marketing department, always available at the end of the phone for you to just to ask our advice on something new or an idea you’ve been thinking about.
What will outsourcing my marketing cost me?
After our initial discussions we enter a further exploratory session, where we assess your business plan. We will then produce a full marketing plan to support it. There are often package structures available, depending on your needs. Not every business needs an aggressive Facebook presence, for example. You may need more or less support to achieve the results you want. We like to work with our clients to create a plan and a pricing structure that makes sense.
